this just came in the mail today. An Italian Long Service in Command medal in bronze. would anyone know what rank this officer may have been being the award is of a lower grade?

I got a World War II era German helmet from my Grandpa as a gift, and I want to know more about it. He couldn’t tell me much except he had it mailed to him by a cousin in 1945 from Germany. I did some research and I think it might be an m34 helmet, but I’m not sure. If anyone knows about this kind of helmet, please let me know

G’day all,
I posted some poor quality pics of this medal in my SS display thread and it was considered to be a bad one. I have now taken some better quality pics and I was just hoping to get some final opinions before I try to return it. I have read on the axis forum that there was a late variation of this medal which had 6 bars on the ribbon tie instead of the 5 that are usually seen and thought it was worth a final appraisal. I appreciate your time and effort boys and in no way by posting this thread am I doubting the knowledge of those of you that have already commented on this medal, it is simply that these photos are much better and may give a different opinion. Quick question do the cannisters generally cost more than the mask?if so what price would this cannister be worth?regards minnie.

Hi,

I just got that set in as a trade - Feuerschutzpolizei (Fire Protection Police) Wachmeister Shoulder Boards and Collar Tabs.
Shoulder boards are not a pair - one is shorter than the other (11.5cm vs. 11cm) and button strap is slightly different as well color brightness.
From my research similar style but slightly different color was used post-war by BRD.

Any feedback is appreciated.
