Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal.

I know, fairly boring and common but it was my first helmet and is currently my only one.

It’s the first time I’ve gotten around to taking any shots of it so thought I would share them here and hopefully some of you helmet guys can tell me what the numbers mean. I’m guessing lot number and size?

I am wondering if this is WWI or WWII or a reproduction? And is it worth $100, which is what its for sale for? Not sure if its a good price or too high.

Your camera choice…

The dog tipped over the camera while it was on his stand!
I could have killed hem, but it was my fault, shouldn’t have left it on his stand ….
So I have to get my self a other one.
But the more I see the less I know.
The one I had was a kodak that costed nearly 500 euro back in the old days.
Can’t recall the details of it, but lets says a simillar one would cost 150 euros now.
But I was limited in some ways with the old one.Managed to make the pic I wanted, even with a magnifier between the lens and the item that needed to be photographed…
So what would you guy’s advice in order to make clear and easy pictures (without the use of magnifiers !!!).
I am not a photographer!!Ready to learn but I like it simple!
BTW Allready had good advice regarding the making of pictures of militaria on thise and other fora!!
I am looking in a price range of 3 to 500 euro.

Need help! chain hook thing, what is this?

just digging in a differant area than usual, away from the dump, so I dig on grass this time and uncover 100’s of batterys but underneath them a hook sticking out so I yank it out and a strange chain thing with 2 hooks hanging from it, id say its 1 meter long, theres a weird circular thing I found too that looks like a grill but no idea. also found some really nice bottles and a one with weird writing "Stores Ref no, Section 33 C/288 Contract / Stores 8047 / C.34 (c) is it military related? damn shame its smashed
