Hi guys, I would like a little help with this one please, a bit outside of my knowledge. The guy that brought it to me says it is Polish WW2, but I have no idea. To give some idea of scale, the total length of a sheath is 9 inches from end to end. Odd fleur de lys insignia on the handle. Sorry for the poor pics, working with a flatbed scanner.

Some idea of value would be great too, as he is trying to sell it to me.

To me it looks kinda weird - the flaking surface and warped edges make it look like it has been through a fire after being dug up? Could it be that repro lids are being bashed, burned & buried only to be dug up as as genuine Fallschirmjager relics later on??? heaven forbid!! ( insert knife for cutting sarcasm here ) …. or am I just being Mr Negative?

Gday Gent’s,
I was hoping someone could ya or na this HJ belt (just the leather).The buckle is my M4/46 Schroder and Co but the leather is a new addition.
The belts tab is missing and it’s a short 900mm in total length.
