Totenkopf Collar Tab. Real or Fake?

Howdy gents,

A dude is willing to sell me this. I’m far from an expert on SS Collar Tabs. The teeth look odd compared to others i have seen. Your opinions would be most welcomed. These are the only two pics i have, and am asking for more.

The Front:

The Back:

Once again i appreciate your findings. I must say this is the most awesome site. What an adventure collecting is!

Can anyone tell me if this is a correct WWII era K98 sling? I’m not sure myself and am hoping someone here knows more about slings than I do. Thanks!

US Army officer dress

Hey everyone,

I’ve had these two uniforms(the other will be posted separately) kicking around in my closet for a while now. I’m not really a uniform person, so I was hoping anyone could give me any information before I pass it along. Despite being pretty beat up and partially stripped, it is definitely well made. I believe someone got sloppy with the alterations to the liner, though. I especially like the Mary charm in the pocket, nice personal touch. Enjoy :)

Important! 1000 Post Helmet World Tour!

OK guys, it is D-Day.

For anyone not familiar with this project, check it out here; http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/steel-…helmet-189688/

The lid will be in Liverpool this week on it’s first UK stop with Ronnie, try not to nick it scouse ;) I thought the first page of this thread would be a good place to put the final list of the ‘fellowship of the lid’, in case anyone needs to check who they are posting to etc. The plan is for everyone to take a few pics of the helmet in a place local to them, wearing it if you like, to build up a kind of holiday album for lid in this thread. We have some good places on the schedule so far; Red Square in Moscow, Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia, so the pressure is on to find a good spot for your pics cool militaria

Here are my pics taken today on Day 1 at Blackpool Tower, and looking out over the Irish Sea. Please forgive the beard on your author cool militaria
