M35 Reissue Heer from Norway
I picked this up through a newspaper ad in Norway in 2008. It was found in June, 1945 by a 14 year old boy in a warehouse just outside of the big port city of Fredrikstad, south of Oslo.
A classic Heer helmet, but I sometimes wonder if it wasn’t used by the Kriegsmarine, given the number inside. Have no idea what it signifies. A classic reissue with a perfect decal. You can see the tricolor shield hiding under the paint. Hard to see, but the soldier name is written in pencil inside the rim.

another item I got at a giant local sale today I paid 5 dollars for this and the inscriptuion around the edges is weird even for the issuer it says 136 CIV, SAR, SAIF ALI. C, D, C, P.
