This passport is strange: issued in 1932 and used only in that time.
It has an early Soviet inscription from 1939 then a later one from 1941…this would indicate he crossed the borders?
Any ideas?

"My educated guess is that daddy was a 1915 reinforcement to the 7th Light Horse Regiment (service bars, colour patch, lanyard, spurs) who most probably won his Military Medal in Sinai-Palestine (the regiment was also on Gallipoli), and that the photo was taken in 1919 after he returned to Australia. "
