Question French Bayo

Hi guys, well i bought another bayonet the other day. I know its French and it has the script on the top side of the blade(not very good pics of it) but its either 1868 or 1886,i know there were the Chassepot blades being made around this time but i dont think this is one.Have looked around trying to find this exact one but only found similars. Can anyone help with id? Maker marks are a "B" and an "M" with a crown looking type symbol above it.Also a "5" on the other side. The blade from tip to guard is 23inch`s,very very good condition!. Any thoughts or comments be much appreciated ;-)

Deutsche Reichsbahn Official’s BeVo Collar Tab Patch

Click to the picture to follow the sales

by: laureljensen

Description: Hard to find Reichsbahn (railway), "rank level" collar tab patch for wear on closed-collar tunics. This has the 8-leaf oakleaf cluster that was reserved for the highest ranking officials, those with pay group 1 through 5. The patch is in really great shape as is the gold brocade border. No holes, rips, or frays in the fabric or stitching. You can see how it’s been removed from the collar tab in the photo of the reverse side. Great addition to any serious collection and reasonably priced given that most collectors won’t have this one.

SIZE OF THE HELMET IS 62/54. SIZE OF THE PHOTO IS 9,5 X 7 cm. ALL ITEMS SHOWS AGE. HELMET HAS APPROX 85% OF ORIGINAL CAMO PAINT. IT COULD BE A REALLY GREAT ADDITION TO ANY WORLD WAR2 COLLECTION.
PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU NEED MORE PICTURES."

Hello guys. I have been watching this helmet for a while now. To be honest, I am quite surprised it has reached over $800 as it is obviously not original. With 4 hours remaining, it will most likely reach even higher. I think the reason it is fooling so many bidders is because they are distracted by the story. The seller claims this piece came out of a private museum, and it belonged to a medic named Fritz Mehler. He even has a picture of "Fritz" to prove it. The problem is that the helmet has a size 54 liner, and the man in the picture has a size 56+ head. This small detail is evidence that the helmet did not belong to the man pictured. Not to mention that the paint is completely fake and the wear/scuffs is artificial. I know we have all heard this a million times, but it needs to be repeated. DON’T BUY THE STORY
