Here is a helmet cover I bought ten years ago - I am convinced it is a fake, made from a genuine Wehrmacht Zeltbahn, and would like to know your opinion about it.

Hello friends
an rare PeKüRo .. schirmmutze of Kavallerie-Regiment 5th or Nord and later named cavalry regiment „Feldmarschall v. Mackensen”.
With typical death skull of this regiment " Danziger Totenkopf" , note the black cloth under the skull.

Gol’ darnitt, I’ve done it again! ……. saw the paint patina and it called to me to buy it! ( that mouse click is the easiest compulsive action of the human body )

A Q66 M35 reissue and a low lot number ( 305 ) helped as well ( pity about the cracks )

Again, these are the seller’s photos and better ones will be forth coming on arrival.

I have a Walther DSM 34 .22 training rifle I am wanting to swap stocks. The original was cut in half to ship back and is beyond fixing. I have a differant stock i want to replace it with. The question is how all of the components on the rifle come off. I want to do this without damaging anything so any help would be appreciated.

This Deutsche Kreuz in Gold was found at the estate sale of a retired WW2 U S Army officer years agoMEDALS 015.jpgMEDALS 016.jpgMEDALS 001.jpg. On the rear lightly enscribed is "K Werner, Feldwebel, Russland, 12.2.1943. I have never found a corresponding name and date in the list of DK recipients. Possibly, the date listed in reference material is that of the engagement the decoration was being awarded for and the date on the back is the actual date of award and receipt. The enscription is put in lightly with a punch and hammer. It is definitely period to the badge. I wonder who the recipient was.

I f anyone is looking for original (refurbished) Mosin Nagant Snipers, AIM just listed them. These are originals - not repros. They started with 500 - all that they have inspected so far are ‘43 or ‘44 builds. Of the 500, only 60ish were Tulas; the rest Izhevsks. The Tulas are already sold out - they are down to about 360 total remaining. Price is $579.00 plus shipping - way lower than RGuns listing at $800.

I was able to get in for a Tula - at that price I can’t restore my ex-sniper for less so that project is on hold.

Get them while they are hot!!
