How to verify authenticity of SS-Ehrenring
Found in the effects of my mother in law. Her stepfather Brigadier General Halley Maddox
, the G3 on George Patton’s staff , gave it to her sometime between 1948-1950. I don’t think they were making fakes then. Is there someone who can examine this and certify it’s authenticity ?

Picked this group up 1st is a Flak-Regiment 4 that the moths had a heyday with bit I still like it. All of them have moth damage the greatcoat is not near as bad as the tunics.

Blood or rust?
I have a Vietnam uniform with a little damage in the neck and it looks to be field repaired. There are a lot of spots around the area, and I’m wondering if it could possibly be blood? I need an extra set of eyes on this one, as I am not sure, the splatter etc makes me think it is blood rather than rust. If only it could talk, maybe the owner got himself a purple heart, hehe
