Description: Looking for a pair of German service glasses or Deinst Brille. The frames themselves must be intact and in good shape, the tin and papers are not necessary. Adjustable temple would be preferred, but again, not necessary. Privately purchased service glasses from the time are also acceptable, so long as the lenses are round and have a diameter of approximately 1.5 inches.
I am willing to discuss prices with you, those I have listed are simply a guess at what I will be spending, but again, are negotiable.
Seller needs to be willing to ship to Canada and accept payment via Paypal.

The one thing I must say I am NOT looking for is the modern reproduction of the glasses commonly available for around $20-$30. These are horrible.

Hello everyone,

I hope that I am not committing a big ‘no-no’ here but I have been biting my tongue long enough. I have noticed that there are certain people that are selling things in the forums ’sale section’ for absolute insane prices. I understand that one can ask what one wants but I got the distinct feeling that this place was different than the "other" forums out there. I felt a sense of camaraderie here that I haven’t felt on any other militaria forums…that is why this is my "home" as far as posting my findings and additions to my collection. In that spirit it would just fry my hide to see a less experienced collector stumble upon one of these listings and shell out 4,5 or even 10 times what something is worth. Just because it isn’t breaking any of the forums rules doesn’t make it right in my opinion. I hold this place in higher regard than that…hopefully others feel the same way.
