Ehrenkreuz fur Frontkampfer. Opinions please.

Hi all

This is my latest acquisition, thought it was about time I got something with some documentation. Looks legit to me but I am no expert. Paid AU$30 for it and I was happy with that. There is no mm on the back. What do the experts think?

Question a SS cammo - opinions please?

I realise it is hard to form an opinion based on such very small images, but I haven’t seen this sort of cammo pattern.
Am I out of touch or does it look believable?
Liner looks unbelievably unworn …..

Thanks, Dan

Heer Buckle & Belt set - 1937 dated E. Schneider

A stop at a private antiques & miltary shop in Maine was most rewarding with lots of interesting Militaria to check out. I purchased this Buckle & Belt set. The belt has a repair to it. The buckle is a little worn but both are dated 1937 and the tab on buckle has the manufacturer mark of E. Schneider Ludenscheid. The belt is also maker marked and dated 1937 - using Ben’s talc technique I can see the date and part of name&location - Carl Bus___ MA__.

I believe this set is legit.

So an expensive weekend in Maine but some good some questionable items for collection or to use to enhance my colection.
Thanks for your time on these posts, hope it helps me and others learn more.
Joe

Czech WWI medals

Hello Forum! I hope all your summers have been going well. like the Hess truck, im back and better than ever with the medals from my Czechoslovakian collection.

first up is the War Cross. the medal was instituted on November 7th 1918 to recognise individual acts of military bravery between July 27th 1914 and October 28th 1918, both by volunteer members of the Revolutionary Army and by members of the Allied forces who fought alongside them. This period was later extended so that acts of bravery in defence of the new republic against the forces of Poland and Hungary could be also be recognised.

the second medal up on display here is the Revolutionary Medal. The cross was created by decree of the new Czechoslovak government on July 1st 1918 to be awarded to all volunteers who enlisted before the proclamation of the Provisional Government in Paris and to nationals of the Allied countries whose acts, whether military or political, during the period from July 24th 1914 to the proclamation of a provisional government, contributed to the establishment of an independent Czechoslovakia.
