I bought a helmet from my favorite dealer today. He made an error while he was ringing me up which would have lost him $100. I pointed out his mistake, so he ended up giving me these for free! It was really nice of him.
The boards themselves are nothing special, and they are not matching, however these were part of a large group of German insignia that was brought back by a local 101st Airborne veteran. I will get his name and info when I see him next. It’s funny how simple, common items become so much more when there is vet provenance attached to them.

Description:
Hello,
Up for auction is a rare Deutsches Kreuz in Gold. The medal is a rare 134 marked DKiG from Otto Klein’s factory. There is some tarnish and a light scratch or two on the enamel, but the enamel has no chips or cracks, and the medal is in great shape overall!
The medal will ship free if purchased in the United States, and I will split shipping with international buyers. International purchases will ship with International Express Mail through the United States Postal Service. If you would like an exact shipping cost to your country, please message me and I will be happy to send you a quote. If it is illegal to ship this item to your country because of the swastika, please refrain from bidding.
Paypal is available, but check or money order is preferred. If a check is used to pay, the item will ship within 24 hours of cleared payment.
Feel free to check out my feedback profile on ebay; my username is the same, but with all lowercase letters.
Thank you for looking!

I got this Arisaka rifle out of a moving storage unit. It was in this old canvas case. It appears that the sling on it is original. It still has the chrysanthemum symbol stamped on the receiver. I have included some pics. I believe it is a type 38, series 23 from the Kokura arsenal. I am not sure. This is based on what I have found on the internet. Any input as to whether I am correct on it’s type and series as well as the canvas case would be helpful. Also, would anyone be willing to give me an estimate on how much it is approximately worth, as I will be selling it? Thanks.
Enjoy, Max
