Found these on an auction site. I’m not bidding on them, I just wanted to get some opinions, for curiosity sake. These are the pics they have posted. My gut instinct is they are both fakes, as the detail, in my opinion, is very, very poor. But, I’m trying to learn something so I’d be happy to hear opinions for you experts

Hey guys I saw this on craigslist just now. I have no intention to buy it its just I wanted your guys opinion. I saw like 8 red flags come up to tell its a fake.

Having moved to Sydney for 18 months, and only bringing a few items with me for display, I thought I would slow down, due to lack of space, and not do much collecting

I think that’s most of it!!!!! Talk about scatterbrained collecting!!!!

Best War film?

Okay so I did a search for film(s) and nothing came up, certainly not going to trawl through every post, time does not allow.

Sadly, due to the UK teaching curriculum history covering the WW is limited at best. My step daughter (now 32) didn’t even know who Hitler was at 22 and I wouldn’t class her as stupid. LOL.

Thought it might be a good reference guide for Hollywood or independent films / series that have graced our screens (other than those independent re-enactment youtube vids). I’m taking feature length films or public televised series.

My favorites are
The World at War originally shown on ITV, 1973
Das Boot by Wolfgang Peterson, a personal favourite

My First Imperial EK 1st Class

This is my first Imperial EK1 that I have added to my collection. It has it’s issues such as the silver frame being loose, but I’m still happy with it. It is hallmarked on the back middle section of the frame with an 800. Thanks for looking!Attachment 332098 Attachment 332099
