7th armoured div patches

Just bought these and waiting for them to arrive, so here are the sellers pics for now, with the white background.

Also some pics of the ones I already have, which gives me 3 wartime examples (post nov 1943) in total and 3 1948 onwards examples (including a detail shot showing the Bevo type weave, as these were made post war in Germany).

Help identifying small brass item from Somme

Hi guys, first time poster on the forum but i’ve been enjoying it for a while.

I’ve visited the somme a few times and have always found these objects each time, could anyone help me identify them?

I look forward to posting on this forum!

Thanks,

John

Schinkel EK2 (1-piece) & FREE Party Badge!!

Click the picture to follow ad…..
Schinkel_pin_F21.jpg

by: Danny70

Description:

Offering this nice and salty, one piece Schinkel EK2 (thought to be from Otto Schickle). One of the harder to find crosses, it’s in well worn condition with a piece of narrow original ribbon. The small ring is detached from the front of the cross, but not loose and the larger ring will not slip through the gap.

As a bonus,  I will throw in this worse for wear late war zinc party badge. It’s the painted type and as you can see the paint is flaking off. Marked on the reverse RZM M1/105 (Hermann Aurich, Dresden).

Asking €120 plus shipping and paypal fees (4%).

War Relics Militaria sales

M42 No Decal Heer - EF 62 Lot # 4646 (0?)

I recently picked this one up, primarily because of the ink inscription on the liner which I assume is the date the GI liberated the piece. Unfortunately, the identity of the Vet and the circumstances of the capture are lost to time. It is just a basic plain Jane M42, but I really like these, and this one is complete with a marked chin strap, which has an ink mark that reads "WOLTRAM KRENTZIIN BERLIN C 2 1943". Hope you like it as much as I do. Jim G.

One of these here disks

Ahoy. Entirely out of my comfort zone but I’ve seen this for sale. What’s the general thought, what’s it worth, what’s it about?

Thanks!
Robbie

National Service League

Quite a rare badge this. Formed around 1902 due to the concern of our poor performance against the Boers in the South African War. The League called for compulsory conscription and training. Died out circa 1916 around the time of compulsory call-up. It resurface to a degree during the inter-war years and again around 1945 before being made redundant when National Service was introduced.
