Insignia grouping, is it worth it?

Hello everyone,

Recently I came across a small grouping of patches/tabs/boards and was wondering what you would set the value for. I am more familiar with WW1 imperial German myself so help would be appreciated. From what I can identify, the boards are Heer artillery, the one chevron is DAK, the other is SS? The eagle is Heer or late DAK. The collar tabs are black on silver.

Parteiabzeichen der NSDAP, RZM M1/93, Gottlieb Friedrich Keck

Fellows

This is a gorgeous Parteiabzeichen der NSDAP! Well, I love the look of it. On the obverse, the lettering is perfect as is the bright red enamel. The white enamel has nary a scuff. Look at the finely outlined, in silver, swas! The stippling is the commom dot pattern. The reverse. A common round pin plate for attachment and "groove" marks for properly aligning the pin. RZM mark with two circles and a crossed Z, and the droopy 3 in the maker number. I tried to get a shot of the side to show how convex these badges get. Many fakes are concave to such a degree, one can tell a questionable badge by it. I will measure circumference on future badges for reference, if anyone cares.

Sad thing is, it’s prettier in person, a photo could never show its real beauty.

Enjoy

Lt. General Fixed Bail M1

I bought the shell in an ebay sleeper auction back in 2000. I was the second bidder and got it for $40. I added the stars and the liner to make it display nicer. Screwback stars are a bugger to find…especially in Canada. Would be nice if it was a used helmet with provenance, but having an original GO helmet of any kind is just as nice. It has a low heat stamp number 53C.

First pic is from 2000 just after it arrived in the mail.

Newbie here

Hello, I am an avid American M1 collector, but I have just come across this guy on ebay selling relic German helmets. Something about them rang all alarm bells, but not being a German helmet collector, I am not sure. I defer judgement to wiser heads. Any thoughts?
