The batch number and maker number are both stamnped on the rear of the skirt, textured finish……decal has that champagne glitter about it

I do like this item as to me it symbolises the end of the Reich,A final act of desperation and arrogance:(

I has been offerd these two jackets, quess that they are copys, but could some of the insignia be ok? they don`t glow under uv light, opinions please.

Hello Fellas,
Here is four new additions to my collection.
From the Top to bottom
1, British 1842 Pattern Musket (Last of Brown Bess with Percussion Lock)
2, German Mauser 1871/84 made by Spandau( First with 8 Rnd Tubular Magazine)
3,German G88 Comission Rifle (Never made by Mauser)
4, Shortened G98? Imperial and Nazi Marks with turned down bolt and holes on top maybe for Scope…Sniper Rifle??
I will post more individual photos.

Just got my copy of this book by George Nipe , has anyone else read it yet ?

It features the II SS Panzer Korps at Kursk and having read some of Nipes previous work " Last victory in Russia " the SS Panzer Korps at Kharkov which is as good as you will get from modern authors of the Eastern Front i’m expecting the same level of detail / photos and research.

The Korps at that time was LAH, Das Reich and Totenkopf and already a quick flick through has revealed some great photos !!
