Hi i was wondering if my M1 helmet is wwii era or if it was made at a later date. I was looking at some of the photos on this forum and i think it is wwii with sand texture but i am interested to hear what the experts think. Please help
This one has no monetary value, but it belonged to an old friend who died recently,he brought it with him from Germany when he came to Canada,it was in a fire and I made the handle for him,it is marked NS on the hilt, just has sentimental value….Pete.
2 of my civil gas masks…I have 3 VM40, and this one VM 37…..I like the "Uber" sized one, all I need to find now is a "K" marked one for Kleine or small….And someone has kindly in the past run a pencil through the impressed markings!!
The VM37 is pretty much unused and the clarity of the markings on the filter is wonderful, The screw cap lid came with this mask, however I believe it is for military gas maksks, I have another cap on one of my military ones.
The Masken Brielle is my second set, I like these little things, its funny how they are now selling repros of these for more thatn a original!!
Civil gas masks are readily available and fairly cheap!
cool militariacool militaria:shok_yikes::shok_yikes::o(Ok I have bought something that might be something great , Today while searching through a salvation Army shop I came across a cardboard box with The fowling on the box Are you ready.10 Stuck MM M 30 scharfe S-Patronen Rottw. XII 1938.box also marked with eagle and Swastika. There are two clips with 5 UNUSED That are marked VIII 1938 and a eagle and swas on the base of the bullet.Looks like this has been in a sock draw for the last seventy years, pristine are the words I would describe both box and enclosed ammo.I would say from the weight this is live ammo.Tell me what you think it might be worth and I will tell you what I paid and post pictures if you like.
