I am new to this forum and have collected a number of Military helmets (mostly WWII) since the age of 6 (Ia am now 53). I have some type of Tanker’s helmet. It looks like an early 60’s football helmet to me except for a microphone and sealed off ear holeAttachment 303731. Any help given will be appreciated.

Found this one for sale from a local, non-collector. I’m thinking it’s a genuine armband, but I’m asking before I’m buying. Has some moth holes as can be seen. The red material is almost like a felt. Three piece construction. It’s a rather large diameter, maybe for going over an overcoat? No tags. What are you opinions? Thanks! (P.S. this was a spur of the moment thing on the way home from work, so I had to take pics with the lower quality camera I had available at the time.)

He told me his father brought them back with him from the war. ive done a little research and i think one is a luftshutz helmet and the other a double decal m40 polizei.
