Description: I have put this cap on other forums as well. Since this site often presents me some problems in downloading pics I have included a link to where I have pics of it posted on another site.
This feldmutze is about flat new , no moth, staining or fading damage at all , and is 100% original.
Would anyone know what type of carbon steel, and at what RC hardness, an L1A2 (long point) bayonet blade is? I’ve read that bayo steel is typically not suitable for a useable knife edge as is it too soft. Any experience or knowledge of the L1A2 blades?
Thanks!
Eric
