Things to do at a Reenactment/Living History

I don’t know if anyone can really help, but any suggestions are allowed. I’m a female if you can’t figure out by my picture. I went to my first camping reenactment in August. The first day we were there was great, nice enough weather, walking around, talking with other reenactors. But the second and third day I was so bored. I did have a book with me, but it wasn’t something authentic and I didn’t want to change just to read the book or hid away to read it. My question is: What are some things I can do on other future camping out events? I was talking with my brother about maybe seeing if any of his group needs things sewn during then, but any other suggestions. I’ve got ADD and need to keep busy of I go nuts and drive other people nuts too

Any worthwile items?

I found this listing on craigslist for some "original nazi pins" but i have my doubts about many of these being "original". I have not contacted the seller, but I’m curious if any of these items strike others fake as they do me.

Do any of these items hold any merit, or are they all fantasy items as i suspect?

the SS pin looks ludicrously fake to me, and the EK like medal looks like an aluminum casting i made in highschool metal shop!

A very big backpack

I finally bought a backpack without holes. This is the biggest wehrmacht backpack I have ever seen.

Need help! Tropenhelm national shield

After purchasing my first set of tropenhelm insignia, I’ve been looking into them a little more. I found this one, which is nicer in condition than the shield that I initially purchased- also, it differs in the kind of prongs attached at the back. After doing some research I found another example with the same prongs that I believe to be original, details match up down to the texturing on the front. My only possible concern is the clean appearance- I understand unissued pieces can appear as such, but I thought it’s worth checking. Is this original? And what would the typical value be of one in this condition? Thanks for looking.

Mat
