Hi Guys, while at a show last weekend I picked up a nice find for a great price. A holster for the FN made Browning Hi Power / GP35 semi auto pistol. Known to German forces as the Pistole 640(b). These often saw service with the Fallschirmjager and the Waffen SS, but not exclusively.
The condition is very good and shows some nice useage where the pistol and spare magazine once sat. Just how I like to collect items.
It is maker marked and dated "dla 43" (Karl Barth, Militaereffekten-Fabrik, Waldbroehl, Rheinland) is additionally WaA 195 marked, which is correct for this maker.
Be gentle it’s my first post here on the War Relics Forum!
I was searching an old RAF Bomber Command base yesterday and with a very limited amount of time available to me came up with these 3 items that were of any interest.
The first is obviously an Falcon smoking pipe minus the wooden bowl.
the second looks like part of an airframe, and has what looks like a round stamp on the side of it, although due to the corrosion it’s hard to tell exactly what it is.
The third item I have no idea, there are two, what appear to be hand stamped serial numbers and ‘VA150 TESTED’ stamped on to it. It also has some original grey paint left on it. I’m guessing it could just be a peice of agricultural equipment, but whatever it is it looks like a coupling for something and was wondering if anyone on here can shed any light on it!

Hi,
I have this example of an SS Fuhrerdegan which I would appreciate comment on.
It has no markings either on scabbard throat or blade.
The scabbard shows the amount of wear you would expect, the blade shows some runner marks otherwise in fine condition.
I know the Dachau made SS Fuhrerdegans had no markings either, I had one in my collection some years ago. This example in my view looks and feels far better than that one though.
Hi! It never ceases to amaze me what I am able to locate stashed in basements and garages in the area! Today i picked up this helmet, I think its Bulgarian? It was fairly cheap, so i thought I would take a shot. Im not sure if they are sought after or desired, or even the era. As always, thoughts and opinions are appreciated!
