Hey all, so when I was in New Mexico I went the local swapmeet/fleamarket and found a few things. All M16 mags are Vietnam era of mfg, except for one of them. The M44 stock is a postwar made one that’s pretty banged up. The helmet is a Vietnam reissue of a late ww2 shell, with a un readable name sadly. The pistol web belt has the ammo pouch that was made to accept the 30rd M16 magazines. Just to clarify this, the AR15 in the picture as unloaded. If anyone wants close ups, let me know. Take care, George
Hello, this is Julekpl again, and I was wondering if any of these items are authentic. I am not sure myself, for I am just a novice collector, but they look suspicious to me. This person is selling a "panzer death ring" which looks more like something from the terminator movies, a "12th panzer division reunion token" an "original service award" and "an officer’s dagger" which is too blurry to distinguish…any thoughts? We should make a section on the forum on how to identify an original from a reproduction. Everything from the construction style to the different types of Reichszeugmeisterei tags. I’m fairly new to collecting 3rd Reich artifacts but have recently purchased my first original SS Armband. As pictured below.
What do you guys think?
