Just picked up two rough M-1s. Not my field and I’m mildly confused by what I find on the net, etc.

First relic is front seam, rusty non-magnetic rim, Oct. 1943 type bales. Shell cracked. Was once green, now rusted. Crudely painted ‘white’ pentagon shape on each side (2.5 inches across). These seem original.

Second helmet is rear seam, stainless non-magnetic rim. Shell cracked. Heat stamp number is 609 (any idea on date?). Triple spot-weld bales. Came with “helmet liner ground troops illegible”, mustard-green inside, repainted olive drab outside. Liner may be more modern than the shell. No suspension web.

Sorry can’t upload pics, but any help re dating would be greatly appreciated.

Irons cross first class by Wilhelm Deumer marked L/11, 3 piece construction with a magnetic core. It has super frosting on it
I don’t think its a matching case, any ideas? The case is not marked..

I would like to show you all my unopened survival rations tin, dated 1943. These tins came in airdropped supply containers, to the norwegian resistance.

Hi Guys, anyone wishing to part with spare unwanted items and who wish to donate the proceeds to the forum can do so via this thread. I think we all have the odd unwanted item hiding in the bottom of drawers which could be sold off cheaply and the proceeds given towards the forum upkeep.

The money raised will then go the the upkeep of the forum. We have just moved to a new faster server and costs are rising! We are starting to look at paying out nearly $1000 a month to keep the forum going. Most people do not realise how expensive it is.

Please make the price attractive so the item will sell quickly and give people a good deal. If possible include the local shipping in the price. Overseas shipping can be worked out later between you and the buyer.
