Nazi coins

Hi everyone,

I recently went to watch the movie X-Men: First Class and in the last scene the bad guy gets killed by a Nazi coin he gave to the soon to be bad guy, Magneto ( I sound like a kid writing this )

See this link

YouTube - Shaw dies scene in X-Men: First Class(HD)

So, I just want to know and if I know myself, I’ll probably want to buy a set of Nazi coins but there are some questions I want to ask.

1. Are there reproduction of these Nazi coins? if yes, how do you tell? Are there any reference books out there about this?
2. How many varieties are there?
3. How much do they cost?
4. Do you guys think that after this movie, the price of nazi coins will go up? hahahaha

By the way, when I was in Munich recently, I stayed in a good friends home , and even though they dont like to talk about the war & hated it, I did see a single nazi coin on display … it was kinda weird really.

Also, I did google about this and came up with some sites.
NAZI COINS
Beutler Mnzen-3. Reich-Sammlermnzen
Drittes Reich Deutschland Ab 1871 bei MA-Shops: 250.000 Mnzen und Medaillen

Really appreciate for any input in this & thank you in advance

Cheers,
Ibrahim

Just one more today

This one is also a lot of fun to play with have had this SKS for quite a few years now and opt to carry this one when I am in the bush backpacking or camping as they are very light and will take a lot of abuse the abundance of milsurp ammo also make them quite cheap to fire. As long as you remember to clean it as soon as you are done I find a lot of the milsurp ammo coming out of Eastern Europe very corrosive .

SD M40 from Kurland

I got this a while ago and came from Estonia but was found on the Kurland battlefield in Latvia. it still has most of it’s original paint although bubbled up a bit and some rust. outer liner band remains. The dent appears to be period as the corrosion is ‘pooled’ around it. Unfortunately I cant make out any makers marks or size due to the bubbled paint. You can also see the eagle decal and if you look close you can barely make out the swastika. Any comment or info would be loved.

Need help! Opinions on this Luftwaffe Flak Tunic please…

Hi all,

I found another nice item I’d like to get some opinions on. This Flak tunic looks to be in unissued condition. Also has the drop-tail eagle, which I’m assuming means its early war, correct?

Also note the "11" on the boards. I haven’t done any research yet, so if anyone knows anything about this division, please let me know.

What do you guys think of this one? Anything stand out; is anything about it rare?
