Relic M40 Double Decal German Helmet For Sale or Trade

For Sale or Trade is a Relic M40 Double Decal Helmet. As seen in the pictures, There is a massive fracture on the top, and what appears to be shrapnel damage through the front rim.

No, it is not fully rust damage, and still very solid, with much of the original dark-green paint remaining.

Hit me up with an offer. I am really interested in trade too, and will consider anything.
I am selling this nice relic for the simple reason that I am not collecting relics right now, rather saving up for a luft officer visor.

Thanks,
Finn

RRPG display War and Peace show 2011

Today was the first day of the 2011 War and Peace show (UK) and is also the first public display put on by the Relic Retrieval and Preservation Group that was formed through WRF Battlefield relics section.
Being the first day of the show is always quieter building up day by day through to the weekend. Even though it was a relatively quiet day the display had a constant stream of enthusiastic visitors of all ages who seemed very interested in the finds, wanting to discuss them and also sharing information. Quite a few were incredulous that so much could still be dug up with one disbelieving that German 20mil mags could be recovered in the UK.

After seeing the pictures you’ll agree it looks very professional thanks to the hard work of Steve T, Whitehunter and Dangermouse.

Onto the pics….

The first shows the whole display with a nice gazebo supplied by Dangermouse.

This W & P show is looking to be yet another world class show and I’ll definately be returning on Saturday. Whilst there I also saw 381stdigger and Spotter and we spent an hour or so wandering around trying to find Paul B’s pitch to no avail but hopefully on Sat we’ll run into him.
Finally for reference, if you’re going to the show the display is in the Living history field to the side of the military modeling tent.

Cheers
LUCKYSTRIKE
