Hi guys. Only recently signed up to the forum and had been waiting to photograph my first lid. I picked this up only recently with an interest in collecting militaria. I’m still getting to grips with the recognition and parts to try and date these items.
As helmet number one, for me this seems a good start to my collection, albeit there is a broken swivel bail and no straps. I have identified the liner as Westinghouse but have no clue as to the steel pot. As for dating it, that’s where I hope some of you can assist.

Some years ago I found this on a fleemarket in Denmark..I was on the look for a good dienstglass..
At the end of the market..I had a look in a big cardbox full of all kind of binos..and there was my baby :shok_yikes: a bino with german eagel and arabic letters..
I have only found a small bit of information on this type of bino..they was ment for a arabic contry but the start of the war ended the shipping of the binos…they was later given to the Sonderverbäde 287 and 288
Is there any other that have info about this binos please let me know.
Regards Morten
