Hi everyone,

I have a chance to purchase a deutscher volkssturm wehrmacht armband from someone via Craigslist. I do not have much experience in purchasing memorabilia from WWII and I was wondering if there were things to look for to tell if it is original or a fake.

Also they are asking for $55 for it, and from looking at other sites, they have asked for around $75-$80 for the same armband (not sure if they ever sold any for this price), so would this be a fair price?

This White Tunic Of Martin Bormann’s Was Retrieved From The Basement Of The Berghof By Warrant Officer Robert G. Eiland, 3rd Infantry Division, U. S. Army. It Was One Of Two He Brought Back As Souvenirs From His Tour Thru Africa, Sicily, Italy Southern France And Germany. The Tunics Were Likely Looted From Bormann’s Summer House By Soldiers Who Then Abandoned Them In Order To Carry Out A H Silver And Other Goodies Found In Hitler’s Summer Residence
This is one of four white tunics that have turned up on the collector market. All are made by the same firm. Hi all,
I am looking for a German WW1 Gas Mask Canister with or without the Gas Mask and in any condition: from one with little remaining paint and no straps,
to one with straps and most paint remaining. I dont mind condition, how complete it is etc… Mainly I am looking for the Canister in good sterdy complete condition with minimal dings or dents.

i read in the mirror hobbys sutch as stamp postcard modal plane and a few more have fallen fowl to the gameing and face book race of teens

do you think ordance collecting is the same ?

Just to add I mean I’n general as I know there are teen collectors here but are they few and far between ?

Picked this up while on vacation, it was in a pile of other old framed prints in a dusty antique mall. No idea of what nation this is, but i just HAD to grab it. Fairly large, about 9 inches by 12 inches. The frame and the matting are in the garbage now, as they are obviously horrendously acidic and worm-eaten. Unfortunately the matting was glued to the picture, so there is residue around. Will cover up fine with a new acid-free mat. I left the old one on for pics. Otherwise in great shape for however old it is. Paper itself has NO markings or signatures, just a really OLD antique store inventory note and price on the back.

Anyone know what this is?
