Need help! Need opinions on two new badges

I just bought these from a local collector. I believe him to be legitimate and the badges to be good, but I would like your thoughts.

Engineer’s EM/NCO Visor Cap

Hello Group,
Any information or opinions on this one? I can’t find any other markings other than the stamp in the liner. The piping appears to be black so I’m assuming this was for an engineer? The center band is dark green.

interior is well worn out but still in good condition!
