If the Nazis had somehow managed to drive back the Allies from Germany, and then negotiated peace, would Adolf Hitler have remained in power?

I know this was a highly unlikely scenario, and nothing but ultimate surrender was considered acceptable, but hypertheticaly, could Hitler have survived, or would the German Generals have removed him from power?

It would be interesting to hear other peoples opinions. cool militaria

I have to apologize for not posting much recently as I have been in Peru on a school trip. For all of the archaeologists out there, I’ve got a ton of pictures of a lot of Inca sites and museums, including Inca and Spanish militaria, if any of you are interested. cool militaria
