Pair from UK POW camp

Can anyone help with this id? I found these two items within a foot of each other on the site of an old pow camp. Within yards of these I have found German dog tags, belt hooks and buttons. They measure 15mm in circumference at the large end, 10mm at the small end and are 15mm long. They look like cufflinks and what I need to know before I can put them with the other German bits is whether they are part of German uniform like the two belt hooks in the tunic. Any help or a pointer to someone who would know would be gratefully appreciated, thanks, Andy.

Question Help identifying this photo album type publication?

We’ve had a few wartime items kicking around the house since the war (My father served in France and was at Dunkirk, then later in North Africa, Sicily and Italy), and most have been easy to research.

One however, I am stuck on.

I appears to be a German publication, in a kind of photo album format. Perhaps the pictures were collected separately like cigarette cards?

I have three months worth of pages - June, October and December 1939.

Each page is quite stout printed (in German) card, about 16" by 12", and each photo, about 6" by 4".

I would love to find out more about their origins.

Cheers

Guy

PzKpfw IV Ausf J found in Poland

Hello,

In the right place at the rigt time- my dream holiday. I would like to post few pictures taken by me. A small introduction: PzKpfw IV prabably Ausf J has been recovered in April 2011 from a field near the airport ( 21 feet underground), near Stargard Szczecinski- Kluczewo/ Poland. The parts were secured and transferred to the War Museum in Kolobrzeg/ Poland. The aim is to restoration from the parts recovered ( 80%). The tank was abandoned and supposedely blow up by its crew in 1944 or 1945.
Conservation time could take several years . I can`t wait to see PzKpfw in War Museum in Kolobrzeg/ Poland after restoration process.

Best Regards

Alex
