Is this a belt from the Army ( Domobran ) or from Ustacha movement? Is this from a officer?

Here we have a 1938 dated flight personel visor cap attributed to Fliegerhorst Aibling in Bavaria and made by the Gebruder Alm. (Otto and Wilhelm Alm established their company in 1918 in Tempelhof-Schoneberg, Brunhildstrasse 5; from 1937 in Kreuzbergstrasse 30 and finally from 1939 in Berlin-Mitte, Munzstrasse 15.

The cap is in generaly good condition with just one small hole on the top cover. The peak had come off however and has been resewn by myself. There are also some tears in the leather sweatband. Overall a decent example from a hard to find maker and with a Fliegerhorst Aibling connection.

£350 or $550, Paypal accepted with 4% extra to cover the fees. Worldwide airmail is £12, UK 1st class registered is £6.

Hi there,

I have recently bought this helmet and i would like to know what kind of decals could have been on this helmet. This helmet has some cracks in it what (i think) happened during the ww2. I think it’s a realy nice helmet but i’m also interested in your opinion. On one side there is a little red piece of paint from de decal left and on the other side you can see it more clearly. The only problem is that i can’t see what kind of decal it was.:p

I am looking for bayonet for SVT-40.
I did some research and this what I found:
1. 3 different type of bayonet
svt-38 type
svt-40 pre war
svt 40 war era
(In my opinion svt-40 pre war nicer looking. True of false?)
2. Price range from 70 bucks to 400+
Why such break down? Condition is one ? Refurbish and non refurbish?
My questions:
1. Which one more desirable?
2. What marking am I looking for?
3. What kind of wood am I looking for? Did they use different type of wood or not?
4. Some have numbers on the handle and some don’t. Is it because it was recondition or because some did not have numbers originally?
5. Screws look different. Did they use different screws at different time? I understand during the war they wanted to save but I want to know is there any info on all type of screws?
6. Am I missing something? Anything else I have to look for?

I know there is a lot of fakes. But some do advertise as replica. If I cannot find any original can I go with fake to add to my rifle? Not necessarily my choice but I want to have rifle complete. Rifle is in great shape but mismatch and electroplated. I have got original adjusting tool and it cost me 50 bucks. I am scared that bayonet in excellent shape going to cost me 10 times more.

If anybody knows anything about it please advise. Picture would be great.

Hello gentlemen,

It occurred to me the other day that I don’t have a single piece of British militaria in my collection. That isn’t very fair to all of the brave British soldiers who fought in the war so I would really like to get started on this personally untouched area of militaria.

For starters, I have found this lot of various insignia for sale for $15. I would like to know what these are, if they are real, and if $15 is a good price for all of it.
