Hello Gentlemen,
I hope members may be able to help me out with information on this Raupenhelm I been offered. I’ve been told it a Bavarian 1870’s Raupenhelm - personally I’m not so sure its either Bavarian or 1870’s, also is the helm complete!I thought they all had a small hanging chain across the front, but as I know so little I’m very much in the dark. I’ve put it through google without much feedback information. I’ve looked the helmet over, unable to find any maker-marks, the seller is looking for 400 euro perhaps members may intermate, what raupenhelms normally retail for. Any information welcome.

Hey people,

I’m wondering if this rare Mussert Cross is real or fake? The seller says he bought it 10 years ago from a Dutch SS veteran in Canada. It comes with the additional box (not on these pics).

This Diplomat dagger is offered as the real deal.
It’s 1 of 8 different daggers, not all are good genuine daggers, and i have my doubts this one is, don’t like the green patina on the scabbard and eagle, copper?
The price aint right either, i compared it with other ones on the net, but there are different crossgard eagles that i’ve seen along the way.
Please your opinions…..

Hey Guys,

Here are two interesting Feuerwehr buckles that I am curious about and trying to get some feedback on. I believe these 45mm buckles to be from the Imperial period and if they were to display 2 solder points I would not have any questions. We see, however, that both show a single center solder point. These single center solder points are, of course, documented but to my knowledge mostly on pre-1895 50mm buckles.

As far as these two examples are concerned I like the boxes, roundels, the presence of verdigris and the solder points themselves.

Any feedback or opinions would be most appreciated
