Original us d-day photographs

Attachment 197146Hello, Picked up these small photo’s a while back.
They came in a small envelope together and a few of them have writing on the back.
Unfortunatly, there are no dates,names etc of who sanped the pics.
All i know is what was written on the envelope.
Anyone have any idea of what beach etc they are showing?

WWII Overcoat

Need a little help - have this black overcoat has six row button front ,buttons marked A&S +size also has the loops for slip on boards on the shoulder. It came with a Volksturm armband. Would appreciate any info relative to the possible branch of the overcoat.

My new purchase

Got this today, a very nice original portuguese colony governor flag.
Has no moth holes, but its very dirty, it must have belonged to a collector because its very weel preserved.
These are very rare and hard to find.
Enjoy.

Unidentified Normandy find.

Found this a few days ago in a Normandy weapons/armour dump where we usually find vehicle parts.
Its about 25cm dia and has a screw thread and rubber seal around the circumference.
Its marked
Ritter Coln
24cm M/98
1902 s/no 566

All I can find for M/98 in that calibre was the Austro Hungarian Morser siege mortar which was not used during WW11.
There were two batteries using 24cm artillery pieces on the Atlantic wall but not with this designation. Anyway all I want to know what it is.
