I am organizing an 1863 group to portray members of the Russian Navy and Marines who helped save the Union by surrounding New York and San Francisco harbors for seven months in order to keep the British from siding with the Confederacy, thus bringing the war to an end sooner and saving the Union (not that, in its present condition, that has turned out to be a great accomplishment)

Blackened 1909 Ammo pouches with internal dividers and date stamped

Non-Prussian belt buckles, either brass or field gray

Blackened belt with date and/or unit marking

WW1 issued canteen with all pieces including belt hook and cover

WW1 German issued shovel and carrier

Soldbuch’s and/or Militar Pas with war time service entries

WW1 issued mess kit with all parts

WW1 issued Iron Cross 2nd Class, with original ribbon, preferably Godet marked

WW1 issued Silver and/or Gold Wound Badge

So pretty much all the basic equipment.
