In the same vein as my earlier thread i’m not sure if this is the correct forum for SA sports badges so if not would the moderator please move this thread to the correct forum.

I am looking at this SA war disabled badge that has caught my eye, I have limited knowledge of these awards.

I’d like to run this piece past the forum for any and all comments.

I and another forum member have the option of buying a pair of relic SS M40 lids. We have no reason to doubt the seller and with our limited knowledge we think the decals are genuine but would like to run the photos past the forum just to confirm what we think.

Obviously most of the detail is lost due to the condition of the helmet and decal but is there anything to suggest the decals might not be what they seem?

Any comments gentlemen?
