I was reading the previous messages and found amazing how you could determine the origin of these EK - wow!
I just bought an EKI with its case, but unfortunately no serial marked. Would be great to have your comments about this precious little thing. Firstly is this an original, is the case original as well - any idea of the manufacturer?

Hi All,
I picked up this camera at a local antique market today. It is a model 1909 Huttig A.G. plate camera.

The interesting thing about this camera, as you will see in the photos below, is the political eagle sticker on the back of the camera.

I’m fairly confident that this is not an authentic sticker however I’m not very knowledgeable in this area. The sticker appears to have been hand cut as evident by the uneven edges. Also, by the 30’s and 40’s, camera’s had advanced beyond this style of camera, so it would seem odd that this would have been used in an official manner as there were far superior camera’s available.

If anyone can help in determining if this is authentic, or post war fantasy, I would appreciate it. The person selling it wasn’t trying to pass it off as TR item so I don’t have a whole lot invested into it ($20 - Which is a little above what most of these antique cameras will go for). With that said, feel free to be blunt with me.

I recenlty purchased an Airborne Beret off of ebay (I have not paid for it) I would like to see what other people think.

The seller is homers1234kickcat they have a 100% positive feedback with a score of over 3000. I am concerned as the vent eyelets are red not black. Has anyone seen a beret with red eyelets as opposed to black ones on a Kangol?

Hi.

This sword is for sale at an local auction in a couple of days and just by judging this picture, what kind of sword is it?

There is only one picture available unfortunately….

They said that the sword is marked “Robert Klaas, solingen” and that is 92 cm long.

I dont know the starting price so it would be good to know what a sword in this condition might be worth. So that i’m not payin an overprice.
