Green 3 Pc Luftschutz w/ Double Police Decals

This 3 piece Luftschutz was repainted green in and out, and adourned with double police decals. The Luftschutz decal on the front must have been removed before it was repainted as there does not seem to be any trace of it left. The liner has an interesting Luftwaffe ink stamp. I hope you like it. Jim G.

Need help! Could anyone help me to identify this holster?

Hi,

I have a US Bucheimer Black Leather Leather Shoulder Holster, Serial # 7791527.

The holster is roughly 10 1/2" x 6". I am not sure if this from WWII or mid 60’s.

Also is this for 45?

I found a similar one on ebay for M1911A1 .45 Pistol GI M7

US Bucheimer M1911A1 .45 Pistol GI M7 Leather Holster - eBay (item 320620672449 end time Nov-28-10 16:28:42 PST)

Thanks for helping me!

description:

Very good condition original Nationalist Chinese canvas and leather 3 pocket chest pouch for the PPSH Sub Gun stick mags that is all complete with leather flaps, adjustable neck strap and adjustable back strap with quick detach buckles. This tough to find pouch has all tight stitching on both canvas and leather with some soiling on both showing actual combat use. All buckles are made of heavy brass and pouch is made of a very heavy canvas material. This original piece came in many years ago with the Chinese rifle imports. Tough piece to find that will make a nice addition to your collection and a great display item.

here’s a rare find you doint see very often, I think the Viet Minh and the VC /NVA would have also used these if the Chi Coms supplied them with small arms

Need help! Information on Kriegsmarine training etc during WW2

Hi,

Can anyone help me. My father passed away this year in June and I have been trying to research his war record. I have some information which they have sent me from Berlin about his training, where and when it took place.
I know he was on a U-Boat at some time ( though have no info re this).
I am not having much luck and wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction as to web sites etc where I can get the info I need.
I will be gratefull and thanks very much.

Sally.

unknown LW item

Attachment 158916Attachment 158918 Hi - Could anybody tell me what this is? It is too light and flimsy to have been an award, although it is about the right size. It had 4 mounting pins that were removed on purpose - I think. It is approx. 5 cm long. Thanks
