M43 Einheitsfeldmutze…..with a twist!

Hallo everybody,
I’d like to share with you the latest entry in my M43 collection…it’s a beautiful M43 Einheitsfeldmutze coming from Rome, made of Regio Esercito Cordellino per Sottufficiali (the fabric we all refer to as “Gabardine” while in fact it’s another kind of cloth altogether, albeit quite similar at first glance).
It’s got a few very interesting features to it,first being the care with which it’s been made, which surpasses just about any other M43 I’ve seen and owned, and the quite unusual trap, whose cockade is devoid of the black, its place being taken by a green ring which is but the base cloth of the BeVo insigna.
The cap is chockfull of reinforcement on the outside and certainly the most cared-of M43 I’ve seen to date!
I won’t indulge myself into a lengthy, boring description and let the pictures do the rest of the talking!
Cheers
Manny

I just got this piece of paper! It’s ripped in two parts unfortunately but still a nice new item for the collection.

Luftwaffe 1st model, late war type

He guys i’m planning on buying this 1st model dagger.
It’s a late war one with alu fittings.
overall condition is great, although it seems like someone just polished all the patina away.
It has alu fittings but i don’t know if platina builds up that beautifull on alu.
It looks fine to me, please tell me what you think of it.
Always nice to hear the opinion of you guys:)
The upperchain connection to the scabbard seems to be replaced.

Now what did I buy?

Picked this little grenade up yesterday from a car boot sale. It has no markings I can find, except from the timing devise on the detonator. Think its wwI by the look of it, possibly German. I paid 2 euros for it, so thats not to bad. There where some other artifacts floating about, but nothing really exciting enough to buy. Saw a German canteen bottle without the cover, gasmask holders without the webbing belts, a German white jacket that was supposed to be from a Infirmer but I didn’t trust the marking on it. It said HM instead of HV (Heeres Verplegung) so I left it.
Anybody have a clue what this little grenade could be? It demined by the way.

Merz???

i've got a metal and enamel badge with the lettering "MERZ" that came with a collection of original German war relics. It has no RZM mark on the back. Could it be a Third Reich artifact? Thanks for your help.
