Need help with this one.
Saw this in an antique/ Militaria shop today. Owner claims it is right and another collector produced his with a similar length of blade.
The blade is around 12" in length and the maker is CASE.
The handle is LF&C
I have never seen a knife like this with a long blade and don't know if it is a battlefield modification or a wrong one altogether.
It is still in the shop so any thoughts please let me in on them
Just wanted to show this one off, it's a tough one to get. The 1936 pattern, gilt washed, die stamped, steel construction, water protection police. The reverse of the buckle is well marked with the embossed manufacturers initials C.T.D. indicating manufacture by Christian Theodor Dicke of Lüdenscheid. Thanks for looking Shane.
