What say you about this eagle?

I have never seen this badge before. What do you think of the Eagle? I am sorry I can’t convert the foto to jpeg. If anybody can, go ahead. Or just click on it twice, and you will see a real piece of work. What really makes me wonder, is that this is being sold in a small auction with very few Nazi items. All the rest of the items look good. Thankls

Have a Mares Leg coming!!

I like guns that are different…
A Mares Leg copy..old cowboy TV show Wanted Dead or Alive. There are other manufactures like Puma (Chiappa) and a US assembler JB Custom using Puma recievers that are $1000 to $1300. Then I found the Rossi for $408. WTF. I did get it in 44 Mag…outside of the box of what I buy (45C) but I do have several in pistols in it…3, a Ruger, Desert eagle and a SSA Clone to be exact Just have to pick up a couple hundred more rounds. Hell I’ll never shoot it anyway.

Question single decal tricolour ???relic from D-day

Hi all,
I recently got this from an English chap who picked it up many years back in the area of Ver-Sur-Mere, ( Gold Beach ) half buried in sand near an observation bunker. A nice story that I cannot prove or disprove but the helmet tells it’s own tale. ( the salt air certainly got to half of it ) It is an early M35 with brass rivets and originally had an aluminium liner band.
My questions are… 1) why only the national shield and no arm of service?
2) the colour is a dark black/grey, not an apple green or field grey…. did battery troops have this colour / decal arrangement?
3) the painted number ( 53 i think ) is a garrison number?? - I’ve seen numbers on gas masks for when they were left in barracks but helmets??

Still, it has become my favourite relic lid!!
Any help or guidance would be great!

Thanks, Dan

Tunic Assistance

Hi all;
Dear Gentlemen, could you please give your opinions on a tunic I was given 15/16 years ago and was purchased by the previous owner a decade before that. It originally had SS badges on which I was told were fake and so assumed the tunic was aswell, but after reading many posts now wonder if, it is in fact an army tunic?

There was definately a breast eagle on the jacket at one time (the "ghosting" of which I had never noticed or thought to look for), stitched inside the lining and all the buttons are stamped c.th dicke except two which seem to be a repair job (top two) which have extra fein and the second one haltbar besonders on.

With my ltd detective work of comparing the shoulder tabs to ones for sale at the historyshop.de they seem "ok" as well………..but I just cant tell as it doesnt seem to match any tunic on this forum or anywhere else I look, all seems right for one tunic model or another but, well it baffles me, any help would be appreciated.
One last point is that it is extremely well tailored, ie inside pocket linings etc

SS Dagger 1317/40 ss check this out

Hi guys,
i recently bought a Luftwaffe dagger from a collector ( posted that one)
He offered me a SS dagger in a mint state, maker is not known, rzm contract is.
I compared it with the one thats on internet, it has a slightly different RZM mark.
Otherwise they look very simular.
It seems TH Wittman has one of this maker in his SS book to on page 176.
Anyone to confirm this?
Dagger fits in the scabbard like a glove….overall a great looking one.
Nickel is in awesome state, just like the one on internet.
What do you guys think of this one………
