Hi All,
I've mostly got British helmets so I thought it would be nice to have a Canadian one. It's 42 dated, & made by the Canadian Lamp Company. The colour & the way the rubber buffers are higher up on the liner are easy ways to tell the difference between the Canadian & British helmets.

An 80 ft tree fell on my house, and I lost some of my militaria. I have no clue as if the insurance comapny will give me the actual value. Do you guys have any clue, or have these expiriences? I lost some German buttons, a couple American, and some paper items. That is all I remember, becuase they were new. Can you give me the value of the buttons? Thanks guys. I need a quick reply.
I would appreciate any information on what details to look for on my badge.I’m unable to post a picture of it at this time,so a written description is all I can do.It’s silvery in color,it has a round pin,the pin and clasp are on rectangular mounts, and I can see no makers mark on the back.Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.
