Repainted shell - An original?

I have been offered this helmet for $120. No liner and no visible markings - although the 2nd pic looks like there might be a decal under the paint ? Found in Germany 40 years ago in a bunker. His brother decided to paint it to cover the rust. I would guess it is a little high priced, but look forward to your views.

Two german buttons to identify

Good morning everyone,
I need your help to identify these two buttons (15mm & 19,1mm):
The bigger is marked "AD" on the face and "ges gesch H.S.B." on the back.
Why not a RAD button but I don’t know:weep:…
Thank you for your help,
Cédric

Need help! Italian WW2 snow camo helmet? . . . or not?

Seen listed for sale online. I’m new to collecting Italian helmets (I branched off from German helmets) - I’ve exhausted the basics of my Italian-vs.-Bulgarian knowledge; I need an informed opinion on this.

1. Italian or Bulgarian?
2. If Italian, WW2 or Spanish?
3. Is the camo legitimate?

I’ve seen a handful of photos of RSI snow camo helmets, I’m still suspicious.Attachment 156319Attachment 156318

belt & buckle from US navy vet family

Here are some pics of the belt and buckle I am purchasing from the Grand daughter of a US Navy WWII vet. I am not sure if it is damaged and will verify when I get it. The front insert looks rather coarse compared to others I have seen. Any ideas?

Soviet Army WW2 uniforms and insignia site.

Gents, this is a first for me, to post in this section of the forum !, but while conducting research on the web, I stumbled across this site, Uniform page 1
I thought it would be of interest to you guys here in this section, if already known, then please disregard. Prost ! Steve.

Panzergrenadier em/nco cap… examples?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anybody owns such an example that would wish to share or could provide some reference pictures of any authentic examples. I don’t think I’ve ever even seen photos of one! Of course these hats are incredibly rare, but they are always officers examples.

SD SS ckl 66 lot # 2892

This is just a standard M42 SD SS combat helmet. It has what I believe to be a field repaired chin strap assembly that was on it when the collector friend from whom I acquired it bought it at a gun show about 30 years ago. Hope you like it. Jim G.
PS - I just can’t seem to load the pictures in the order that I would like, but anyway, they are all there.
