Opinion about German Gas Mask & Cannister

Hi, what do you think about this gasmask and cannister? Would it be suitable for my 12th SS Hitlerjugend Impression in Normandy? I would like to have at least one original item in it!
This one looks quite cheap even cheaper than repro cannisters.

So here are the pics:

WWII German K98

Hey,
For people in the states

I have not goten a new K98 for a while now. How much do non Russki k98’s go for now?
non Russkis captured?
all matching?

I am thinking about getting one in few moths or so, got save up cash.
Depends on the price.

Crazy EK2 price!

So I like EK2’s OK? Nothing wrong with that is there? So I keep tabs on prices for EK’s both from dealers and online auctions (as you do) and I’m seeing this rusty EK2 with a claim of Stalingrad origin and I think "yeah, i’ll see where this goes and maybe throw $50 at it if I can". ( I picked up another Stalingrad EK2 last week for $51)

Then some people start upping the bidding and pretty soon it’s gone past $50, then past $75 then past $100 so I keep an eye on it just for fun. Now she’s a crusty old unit as you’d expect…

Attachment 157483

So what would you pay for her? Like I say $50 would be about the price, maybe $75 if you believe the Stalingrad story and are prepared to pay a premium for that.

Now bearing in mind that mint MM’d EK2’s with ribbon can be had for around $150 would you be prepared to pay…

New more info on this WWII peacoat?

I am not sure if this is the place to post but I need more info I am not a WW2 know about the whole thing or what not but i do know I have this WW2 peacoat jacket and I have alot of pictures of this jacket ... at my slideshow link below.

Slideshow by Steven

here is a brief of the jacket

This jacket is in mint condition with no wear and tear, no holes or any real signs of use. The jacket has two "The Great Seal of the United States of America" metal buttons on the top shoulders and has 6 plastic The Great Seal of the United States of America on the front and has two more plastic buttons were the collar is to hold the collar down. The jacket also has two pockets on the inside of the jacket. It has a belt on the back so you can ajust it to your needs buttons. Again we are not sure of the history of the jacket but the tag is labeled with the name "ERICH VOSS" and may have been his jacket as a prisoner of World War II.

the thing I am not sure about the erich voss named on the tag? and when i search for erich voss brings me too a germany leader under hitler? during the WW2 so I am not so sure if this was his prisoner jacket or not I'm not so sure but maybe someone may know? but anways thanks for the help in advanced

:)
