Hi today got some very nice pieces for not that much money so i did really good today the pins are: matching signal corps collar brass with original backing, Coastal artillery collar brass screwback, US 198 collar brass maker mark and screwback, US collar brass match and screwback, military police collar brass, and pre ww2 US reserve officer collar brass(Rare i think) the patch are: central armored divison patch, 50th armored divison, 6th army group, 77th divison, 94th divison and air transportation. Hello everyone. Recently i have purchased this flare gun. In order to get it out of customs i need to get a license from the police. They want to know some specs of this pistol but i have not idea what is the year or model. The only things i know is the note of the seller. I’m pasting it as it was written:

”One side is marked only with "1001, the other side is marked with a bunch of stampings, there are 2 eagle stamps, a small crown looking stamp over a "U" an "s" inside a triangle, what looks like a makers mark "SUHL" underneath a person or statue, "22562", a very small triangle with some letters in it, and an "a" with small marks radiating around it.”
Does anyone know more about this gun or a website with information for German flare guns?

I have recently aquired a 1919a4 browning and M2 tripod but after looking at various pics of tripods i am in need of some help, on my tripod is an angular piece of metal that is bolted to the flat plate, i have not come across this on any other tripod pics that i have seen. Is this a later addition? as i was hoping my m2 tripod was ww2 era, also on the tripod is a webbing strap which is attatched to the front leg with a leather tab, the end of the strap has a metal end which is far too new to be of ww2 vintage and i am very dubious of this. Can anyone help or offer any advice
