Need some oppinions, dont know anything about swords of any time... But it looks wierd..

And another one for identification.

MY FIRST M16! Off of Craigslist!

I just bought this for $65! The kid I bought it from had apparently been helping his uncle tear down an old house and found this as the house was coming down. He had it listed as a "WW2 German helmet", but thanks to this forum, I knew better! I used a little bit of "Bartender’s Friend" (a powder cleaner we have here in the states) to take the rust off. I am totally over the moon about this! Christmas came early for me!cool militaria

New Purchase

Hi everyone,

I made another purchase from the fellow I mentioned in a previous post. He is slowly selling his militaria collection to me and in the following pics are my most recent aquisitions from him. These pieces look good to me but I am totally in the dark as to what to look for as far as makers marks etc. So, I come the experts here to help me determine authenticity and value. I gave $930 for this group so I hope I did well or at least broke even.

These 3 pics are quickies and I can provide much better close up’s if needed.

Thank you,
Josey

RF-SS Cuff title.

I moved recently and have rediscovered many items I had forgotten about.
I acquired this cuff title in the late 60’s. I am not sure if it is good or not and would appreciate the opinion of more learned members as to what I have good or bad. It is a kommandostab RF-SS cuff title which is wider than the average cuff title (?). It has 7 silver aluminium wires running along both sides.
Thanks for all opinions.

Infanterie Sturmabzeichen - W.H. — QUESTION

Do all the genuine W.H Infanterie Sturmabzeichen’s have the hollowing out behind the rifle butt?
I have got hold of one which is completely flat at the back and I am unable to take photos because my camera is broken. I searched the net for a badge that looks the same as mine and this is what I found. No rear view though. The hinge plate on mine has square corners whereas the others have rounded corners and the catch is embedded into the badge whereas mine has a round plate. Sorry I can’t post my own pictures as I realize that it is difficult to give input this way, but please try. The flat top to the eagles head is also worrying as is the eagles talons. The badge also seems excessively thick, all in all I believe this to be a fake, am I right? Thank you guys.

Russian Military Memorials and Cemeteries in Poland

Hi all,

Is there a list of Russian military memorials and cemeteries located in Poland? I am looking for a person killed in 1945 in Poland.

Thank you.

Late war IJN sword.

Hi Guys and Gals;
This is a late war stainless steel Imperial Japanese Naval military blade. This type blade is usually found with an anchor in a circle mark.
