Hi all! This is ground dug up battle damaged SS nickel buckle with full logo markings on it. As you can see the nickel is oxidized in a soil and changed its original silver color… I will ask your opinions on this buckle . Please also confirm info on so called full logo marking Overhoff & CIE. My opponent is sure and claims that their been only short mark with O&C. ges. gesh and that full logo mark Overhoff & CIE is not real for nickel buckles and it’s fake. Also any references to books, catalogues and historian sources are very welcome! Thanks in advance for your help!!!
Gentlemen, gimme your best price, you win.Not the greatest lot you've seen, but no fakes, digged in the Lucky strike's pows camp area..
I know it's not ebay here but i'm not keen enough to give a realistic price for this kinda stuff:you're pros, not me !
Some Kriegsmarine buttons, pfennig and kopek(surely a russian pow..).
One thing:i have not the knowledge to say the cartridge and fork are German..
Boys, here’s the first lot i’m selling.
Due to the poor shape and interest of these pieces(mainly burnt),you will propose me a price(no swap, sorry….)
The thing you have to keep in mind is that these relics were digged 35 km from where i live.
The better price proposed has this stuff.
Shipping surely not expensive,so if you propose me 100 quids,it’s offered
Gentlemen ,hello!
I’m looking for infos, links ,maps ,pics regarding the POW camp in Urville Nacqueville.
We know its position,but that’s all,sadly..
Any help will be great!!
Thanks to all!
Hello all,
I've been reading this forum from time to time and now decided to join. I am a long-term collector of antiques but just recently decided to start my collection of WWII relics and need some advice. I've got 4 pieces (badges?) which I've got from a friend who in turn bought them at a local auction in Italy but this does not exclude a possibility that they are fantasy pieces from Poland:) so I would like a second opinion. I have searched Internet trying to find similar pieces, like other enamel badges but there are very few. Have you seen something like this before? Thanks!!
Hello everybody,
Just traded a nice early NSKK dagger for this Japanese mission board so it wasn’t all that cheap but it’s unique and fits my collection of Jap/okinawa gear. Have a look, Yonton
