AFRIKAKORPS Cuff Title Opinions

Hey gents, just wondering what everyone thinks? I looked at Adrian’s sticky and I think it’s fine. But I’d like the opinions of other members. The Title is a unissued example that has a really interesting brown backing. Something that you don’t usually see?

Bayonet?

Hello all, Im new to the forum and recently came across some old German military stuff after a reletive passed away. He was in the european theater during the period in and around D-day. He left all sorts of treasures ill post a link to all the other stuff here.

Ill try and put the right things in the right forum, so here is a Bayonet, with sheath. It looks to me like its been sharpened, likely after the war by my relative (I think he had it by his bed to stab a would-be intruder!) and the handle doesnt look quite right for vintage. My buddy who has M1’s says its not a US bayonet.

Im not quite sure how much of this stuff I want to keep, maybe a few items, but I would also be willing to entertain any offer someone makes. Im between jobs right now so my desire to keep some of these items is likely to be outweighed by my desire to eat!

Thanks for the help!

First arrival of the month

Hi, this september has been slow going, bought several items, but all have been delayed due to vacations, anyway today has arrived my german gas mask cannister, The gas mask itself is on route alongside some third reich porcelain.
My Jap flag has arrived today at customs in lisbon, but it only be delivered next week.
Here are the photos of the cannister.
Cheers.

Ill try and put the right things in the right forum, so here are the patches and the really mint little flag that I believe is the one off the front of a parade vehicle.

Ill try and put the right things in the right forum, so here are a few utensils, an aviation compass, and some really strange stuff labeled as "v-2/zeus 40 timers/detonators"

Im not quite sure how much of this stuff I want to keep, maybe a few items, but I would also be willing to entertain any offer someone makes. Im between jobs right now so my desire to keep some of these items is likely to be outweighed by my desire to eat!

First- the weird stuff, a leather case with small cylindrical mechanical devices in it with a note saying they are disarmed timing mechanisims/detonators for zeus 40 and v2 rockets.

An aircraft compass (still works!)

Some silverware, 2 different types of forks

Any help you can give me identifying what exactly i have here would be greatly appreciated!

Ill try and put the right things in the right forum, so here are 4 hats, all of which I believe to be German (but you guys are the real experts, you tell me!)

Im not quite sure how much of this stuff I want to keep, maybe a few items, but I would also be willing to entertain any offer someone makes. Im between jobs right now so my desire to keep some of these items is likely to be outweighed by my desire to eat!

My favorite item of them all, seems to be a cold weather luftwaffe cap from what i have found on here… seems to be in amazing condition, very soft!

This cap seems to have the emblems just sort of tacked to it with a thread… dont know what that means.

Some sort of dress cap, seems like its in pretty good shape although the rigid band around the inside is a little worn.

A flight cap, with "DA" scratched on one earpiece

Any information about these items you might have, let me know! Im especially curious about the cold weather one as i havent seen one nicer in my searches here and around the internet. Its my favorite piece out of all the items I got.

The first one seems to be the least substantially built of them all, but the coolest looking (due to the emblems and the name tag that says "Werntzig") - unfortunately it has a sizable crack in the front of it.

Ths is the heavy duty (combat?) black one

and a slightly different heavy duty green one

Thanks in advance for any information you can give me! Im looking forward to learning more about what I have here!
