Anyone use airguns?

I know most of you have a wide collection of firearms, but does anyone use airguns as "fill ins" for holsters? I do, and I keep an airgun replica of a Colt 1911 in an original holster to give it a good look. Just curious. These are also very fun to shoot. The holster is marked Graton and Knight CO. 1943. This was in the box with these items. Not sure if real. Looks very new. So Im here to ask the experts. Please take a look and let me know if real or fake. paper visor w-ss visor?

I encountered recently a peaked cap with no insignia - but holes where a skull MIGHT have been and holes for some sort of broad-wing eagle.

had black wool band, blue/gray-green body, white piping. no sweat shield. no maker mark quite thin non-ss chinstrap. not very good fitting (or shrunken) sw’band, made from some thick, synthetic leather I think, brown/orange in color. maybe there was a mark underneath but I didn’t want to chance the thing coming apart since it was a bit dodgy conditionwise….

the visor was the most odd; seemed to be pressed cardboard with thin, paperish black coating which was lifting in places.

my impression from the bluish gray wool (should have taken it outside, I know) was - despite the very w-ss looking cap band - of postal or other civil organization.

sorry no pix. could this really be late-was waffen-SS or am I delusional? like where my brain said ’skull’ could have been some other outfit’s wreathy roundel? the price was very small in any case and shop owner didn’t know what to call it….

do any of you? thanks!

Some help with Russian text…

Baltic Fleet hat tally

Hello!

I`m collecting Soviet Baltic Fleet naval infantry impression for re-enactment use. My question is that anybody know what is perioid correct tally for Baltic Fleet hat at 1940-1944 perioid?

Tridentmilitary sells this tally: http://www.tridentmilitary.com/New-P…ap-tally-b.jpg

And Collectrussia sells this: Collect Russia Order of the Red Banner Baltic Fleet cap tally, 1940s through mid 19 60s. Soviet Russian

They have a little difference: Krasnoznam.Balt.Flot at Tridentmilitary tally and Krasnoznamën.Balt.Flot at Collectrussia tally.

I have now correct hat, great thanks to Rob! It looks beautifull, You are 1st class salesman!
