Need help! Two Eisernes Kreuz (EK2) - Opinions??

What do you guys think about these two Iron Crosses, good or bad? Hard to tell from the photos, but maybe a more experienced collector will see something here that I don’t.

Need help! Unique Heer Pith Helmet - Thoughts???

I came across this helmet and am curious to get everyone's thoughts on it. I've never seen this type of pith with the large heer eagle on the front, and no decals on the sides. The liner also has me puzzled. It looks more like a steel helmet's liner, and appears to have "wings" on the forward and aft sides of the liner.

Thoughts??

exotica / deco little tank

might not be the right place to post it, but I couldn't find a similar treath as the exotica / deco TR treath.
Made out of wood it is a box, sort of "vide poche" in the forme of an US tank (yes, because of the star painted on it!!!).
Seemed like a nice object for 50 € cent on a flee market.

‘Real’ helmets repainted with new liners?

While looking for a new more authentic liner and chinstrap for my old repro M40. I came across several dealers offering what they claim are genuine German WW2 helmets which have been repainted and fitted with modern liners. This on the face of it is attractive to someone like me who cannot afford an untouched helmet. But on the other hand my natural skepticism leads to me to ask. What is the source of these genuine WW2 German helmets? Are they simply shells left over from the war, never used. What happened to the original liners?

Are they worth buying?

I ask because looking at my reproduction helmet which is a an old high quality copy. I can see that with the addition of a bit of paint, a few appropriate stamps and a bit of work I could easily pass it off as a real shell that’s been refurbished. I would be nervous that any so called real refurbished helmet I bought would be no more than a replica.

So where do these shells come from?

belgian medal groupe found on a fkea market

yes,that is where hero’s end!
Strange; people do not give any intrest to the history of theyre family.
Thise lot was sold separately at 10 euro cent a piece, and it seemed to me; to be the (not that young anymore) relatives of the original owner.
But no questions asked! I got there in time and managed to keep the lot safe.
I think it must have belonged to a women who volunteerd at the red cross and worked in a hospital in France.
So here is ;
-the order of the crown
-the King Albert’s medal
-the well known WWI victory medal
and
- the war commemorative medal (with a crown on the ribbon, given to the voulonteers!)
All came separatly, for the miniatures they charged 2 €!!

Thise was the main group, but theyre still was a small (broken) model (women’s medal) pre 1951 military medal of a" order of Leopold I " that I got for free for buying the lot!!!Attachment 143515Attachment 143516Attachment 143517Attachment 143518Attachment 143519

And a local French medal with a red cross on the ribbon.
