M35 Heer re-issue

Hi folks, This is my most recent helmet purchase from the Fall of last year. It comes with provenance. It is marked 4715 SE62. That makes it a Sächsiche Emailler und Stanzwerke example. Their mark was changed later to hkp if memory serves. It is a double decal re-issue M35 model with rough paint applied to the exterior and interior by brush. You can see some of the national colors peeking out of the paint. Hard to photograph with my camera but you get the general feel for it from these shots. Inside, both vents are covered with a small square of paper glued in place. Attachment 144206Attachment 144207Attachment 144208Attachment 144209Maybe somebody can comment on the numbering for this one and provide a date of manufacture. Neil

Ww2 us army air forces ladder.

I picked this up this weekend, and never have seen anything like it before.

It is marked US ARMY AIR FORCES on the identification plate.

This ladder, opens up ,and expends from the sides to form a complete ladder, and closes to the what i have pictured.

It is in really good shape, and from what i can find out, it is a refueling ladder for fixed aircraft.

What would the value on this be, as i got it really cheap, they just wanted it gone, and i don’t collect these type of items, and I’m sure there is someone in here that does collect these type of items.

thanks
Brian
